Vintage at The Male Rooom

I was looking for something else when I came across a paper pad that I thought would be perfect for these pre-printed card toppers which I had ear marked for the challenge theme at The Male Room of Vintage.

I also had a hunt through my papers and found this Websters page with the numbers on which I thought could be the golf holes?  I have had all my lovely Websters pages so long (8 years maybe!) and notice now that the company have moved onto planners mainly, and their papers are so different.

I took a piece of chocolate metallic foundation card and ran it through an embossing folder that mirrored the diamond pattern (which reminded me of golfing jumpers). Then I used some gilding wax over the raised areas and on some of the papers. The finishing touch is a little piece of Pion Mr Tom paper with the old ads on it and some twine.

Whilst I was in the swing of it I decided to grab another image and do another card.

Your first card is amazing, I love all the papers and details also the "shabby" edge.
Your second card is also fabulous, isn't it funny that sometimes 2 come out of nothing LOL. Thank you for sharing these wonderful cards at The Male Room. - Faith DT and my own hat too. x
